Anyone can enter. Here is how it works:
1. Write a brief letter that explains why your mom is so special.
2. Submit it on our website between April 1st and April 30th (follow the link below)
3. I will announce a winner on May 1st, and send her or him a $500 voucher for anything in the SAZ Studio.
There aren’t any requirements other than writing something heartfelt and meaningful about what makes your mom so amazing.
I often say, ‘every gem has a story, and my job is to figure out what that story is.’ There are all kinds of things that go into determining the monetary value of diamonds, gemstones, and precious metals. But the sentimental value of jewelry can’t be determined by an expert, it is something that can only be felt by the owner. One of my favorite parts of being a gemologist is hearing family stories and the relationships that jewelry symbolizes. This giveaway isn’t about jewelry; it is about expressing one of the most meaningful relationships any of us could ever have.
I’ve always felt like it is impossible to fully express how we feel about our moms on a Mother’s Day card. Even though cards are a nice gesture, I can’t fit everything I want to say on them. The cool thing about this giveaway is, if you participate, you can give your letter to your mom on Mother’s Day.
My hope is that this giveaway will provide an opportunity to honor the women who have been there not just when we needed someone but when we needed someone most.
